Sweet Baby Girl

Success at last! I have tried several times to load this card but for some reason it wouldn't. Now I don't know how to crop it which it needs. Never mind I'll leave it for now so you can see  I do enjoy stamping too.
This pretty baby is from Lili of the Valley stamps and has been coloured with Promarkers.
I'm off on holiday tomorrow for a couple of weeks but I'm taking stamps and pens with me just in case I get bored. I'm also taking my laptop so I can play around with Craft Artist and all the new digikits I have loaded onto it but not had time to use.

Flower Power

I'm not very happy with the photo of this card but I wanted to post something today. In RL I'm actually quite happy with it.

I have foxgloves self seeded around my garden, they look so elegant and eyecatching. On close inspection they are all varying shades of magenta to pale pink. No white ones this year although I have had them in the past.
This makes it sound like I have a lovely garden but the truth is it is a mess. We inherited lots of concrete, gravel and paving slabs and are still no nearer creating a beautiful garden that I dream of.. I suppose I should post a photo but I don't have one. May be I'll add one later.
I have this beautiful foxglove stamp so decided this would fit into a few challenges. The flowers are painted in H2O's with glamour dust in the centres for extra sparkle. The strip along the top is from a quilling flower cutout I had left over.
Materials
DCWV paper
Jayne Netley Mayhew - foxglove
LOTV - birthday sentiment
Martha Stewart - doily punch
Butterfly and ribbon from stash
Nestability saclloped rectangle die

Challenges
A spoonful of sugar - flower power
Truly Scrumptious 58 - summer sparkle

Chocolate cake

Wouldn't you just like a bite of that chocolate cake - check there's no mice droppings in it first though!

I've glazed the jam but it wasn't dry when I took the photo so looks a bit cloudy - I was too impatient to wait - just like eating cake really.   I've got a Victoria sponge in the oven while I'm doing this - it's 7.30 am and I realised I didn't have anything to go in my sons lunch box! Smells delicious but I'll have to wait until my friend comes around for coffee later for a piece.
Materials
Stamp - LOTV Sprinkled with sugar
Backing paper - My Minds Eye Summer
Flowers - Xcut punch and gems
Lace - Martha Stewart doily punch

Challenges
LOTV - animal antics
Cute Card Thursday - I like chocolate a lot

WOYWW 100 or perhaps not?

What a horrible wet and windy night it was here in the UK we were spoilt after so many weeks of glorious weather.
This was my workdesk early this morning ( I'm an early riser ) - even though the Inktense pencils are there the LOTV image was coloured with Promarkers.
Note the syringe that had Pinflair glue in that went semi solid while I was away - I'm now letting harden completely before I can clean it out, LOL

And here's the result from this mornings work.
How's that for cutting it fine I love Promarkers challenge closes today by I wanted to enter this card which I have keep simple so as not to detract from this sweet Lili of the Valley image. I don't usually do DL cards but on this occasion it fitted the shape of the frame I'd made. The flowers have been glittered and the apple, apple core, girls boots and ponies eye have been glazed to make them stand out.

Materials
LOTV stamp
Frame cut with Silhouette coloured with Tim Holtz distress inks
Sizzix labels die
Sentiment printed on computer
Pearls and ribbon from stash

Challenges
I Love Promarkers - no designer papers
WOYWW 100

Silly me I've just had to add this as I realised today is only Tuesday,  it's actually WOYWT

Special Card for a Horse Lover

I'm afraid this will have to be my last posting for a few weeks as I'm off to France on Friday and have loads to do before then. We have a home there so the grass will be hiding elephants and the weeds will have taken over. That's the first week taken care of. The 2nd week we are taking our camper away for a real holiday - this will be a novelty as last summer we went for 4 weeks and only had one day out. It's no wonder our son thinks holidays are boring! For the 3rd week Robin's French friend who has moved to the South is coming to stay which will be lovely for him and a chance for him to talk in French again. He is fluent after going to school there for 2 years.
I'm taking paper, stamps ( all those I haven't played with yet ), Promarkers and my Inktense water colour pencils so I'll have plenty to keep me happy.
I have been asked to make an 18th birthday card for someone's Grand-daughter who loves horses so thought I'd use this stamp that I've had for a while from Lili of the Valley. Isn't she just a gorgeous sweet girl with her pony. Spot the cheeky little mouse eating the apple core.

I stamped 3 images, cut out  for various layers, coloured with Promarkers and used a Nestabilities Labels die.

Daisy and Dandelion Picnic Patch paper
LOTV  Me and My Pony stamp

Wow. What a beautiful sunny morning it is today, it makes you want to go and work in the garden and to take my dog Ice out for a long walk.

Why is it these look so much better in RL than in the photo!

Punched flowers, and gems from stash.

Challenges - Lili of the Valley 88 and Papertake  ( 3 of anything )
